On the coasts of Nicaragua you will find excellent opportunities to enjoy the fantastic surf that both the Pacific and the Caribbean coast have to offer. There are many places along the beaches where you can hire out surf boards and body boards, so you don’t need to bring your own unless you so wish. If you wish you can also take surfing lessons if you have never tried the sport out before. Other water sports that can be found along the coasts also include windsurfing, jet skiing and water skiing, although these are harder to come by.

The marine life in Nicaragua is a great spectacle to witness, especially along the Caribbean coast you can find an abundance of wonderful marine that prosper amongst the coral reefs. Again there are a places dotted along the coast that offer scuba equipment and lessons so you can take advantage of what Nicaragua has to offer under the sea.
